Our Roots: Tokyo Sushi Academy
Our workshop is proudly operated by Tokyo Sushi Academy, Japan’s very first professional sushi school. Since opening in 2002, the academy has welcomed students from around the world, with graduates now working in over 50 countries.
What makes Tokyo Sushi Academy stand out is its intensive curriculum designed to help even complete beginners gain professional skills in a short time. One of the most popular programs is the International Sushi Chef Course, a five-week English-language course tailored for international students.

Last week marked the graduation of Batch 26 from our International Sushi Chef Course.
After five weeks of hard work in a foreign country, it was truly moving to see all the students smiling as they completed the course. Our team was deeply touched by their dedication and passion.We are so proud of each and every graduate!

Recently, a guest from the U.S. who joined our sushi experience class at Sushi Academy Ginza was so inspired that they decided to come back to Japan this October to enroll in the full 5-week International Sushi Chef Course.
What started as a fun hands-on activity has now become the first step toward a deeper dive into the world of sushi. We’re truly thrilled to see how sushi can connect people and inspire new journeys!
